The Center for Adult Social Care Research (CARE) is a new research center established in 2023, which aims to conduct cutting-edge research on adult social care, underpinned by substantial UK-level research funding.

Research Associate, CASCADE
CASCDE is looking for a Research Associate to join their team and work on a project titled “Evaluation of Family Group Conferencing for Children and Families: Context, Implementation, and Effectiveness”. The National Institute for Health Research has funded this research project.

Child, Young People and Family Involvement Worker, CASCADE
CASCDE is looking for a Child, Young Person and Family Involvement worker to support the ongoing involvement work at the Children’s Social Care Research and Development Centre (CASCADE). Your role will be to provide guidance and support to staff in relation to involving children, young people, parents, and carers in research, with a focus on supporting public involvement infrastructure in CASCADE, leading the established CASCADE Voices young people’s group and our Parents’ Research advisory group.

The role involves providing advice and support to involve people with lived experience of adult social care services, unpaid carers, and practitioners in research. The job includes leading a Public Involvement Board and Practitioners’ forum, working on individual projects, and advising on research dissemination.

Communications Officer, CARE
CARE is looking for a Communications Officer. Develop and execute an effective communication strategy, create content, and support researchers with communications and events to promote the Centre’s work. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and reviewing content, planning and delivering new content, researching customer needs, and ensuring targeted communication.
